CEEA-ACÉG Annual Conference: Collaboration, Engagement and Inclusion
Hosted by the University of Alberta (UofA), the conference will provide delegates opportunities to share their research in Canadian engineering education and participate in dynamic and collaborative sessions.
Conference Theme and Key Elements
Engineering graduates must have a broad range of skills and competencies; be able to work in a rapidly evolving socio-technical world and maintain sustainable practices; be adaptable and become leaders. Within the theme of Stakeholders in Engineering Education, key elements are leadership, sustainability, entrepreneurship and design, and diversity, equity and inclusivity.
Event Attendance
Event reach: Over the course of five days, around 300 forward-thinking individuals from engineering education faculty, staff, industry professionals, K-12 allies, as well as graduate and undergraduate student delegates, will come together to represent approximately 50 universities across Canada.
Event goals: To bring together Canada’s stakeholders and partners in engineering education: engineering professors, students, industry, government, Indigenous communities, professional societies and regulatory organizations, practitioners, non-engineering programs, K-12 teachers, and researchers.
Target Audience:
Canadian engineers, undergraduate and graduate engineering students, engineering professors and researchers, K-12 teachers and industry professionals.
